Pho Spice Espresso
Story Intro
The star anise and ginger spice from this coffee remind me of my mother making pho in our small kitchen as a child, the aroma would fill the house with these warm spices. Using our single-origin beans that claimed 2nd place at the prestigious 2024 Golden Bean roasting competition, this unique blend will brings warmth and comfort to every cup.
It's best brew as an espresso with milk or milk alternative -based.
The Process
The coffee was grown near Mount Kerinci, an active volcano in the Sumatra Indonesia. This region is known for its fertile volcanic soil, high altitude, and diverse microclimates.
This is a semi-washed process where the coffee cherries are depulped, but some mucilage (the sticky fruit layer) is left on the beans during drying.
